So if you haven't slept under a rock for some time, you might know about Keiji Inafune's newest game project, Mighty No. 9.

So instead of talking about the project itself, I came here to talk about the fanart of it. If you haven't noticed, we have already added a folder to submit fanart base on Mighty No. 9. So if you have any and you weren't sure whenever or not post it here, it is perfectly fine.

As I'm sure all of you are well aware of by now, Mega Man has been confirmed as a playable character for the next Super Smash Bros title!
Amazing I know, and I personally can't wait to play as him.

In honor of this event, I have now added a Super Smash Bros Folder where you can submit any and all of your Super Smash Bros themed Mega Man pictures of either the Blue Bomber himself, or him fighting or whatnot with the other characters from the game.

Yes that's right! You have all heard about it, you are all exited for it, the Blue Bomber himself joins the roster of the next Super Smash Bros!

Yes, the moment we have all been waiting for, Mega Man will be part of the roster of the next Super Smash Bros game, scheduled to come out next year! Unless Capcom cancels this deal as well...
I'm telling you Nintendo, buy the copyrights for Mega Man already and give him more of the love that he deserves!

OK, so I woke up this morning expecting a normal day, but whats the first thing I see when I turn on the computer? Megaman Legends 3 Cancelled.
... Not the wake up I was hoping for...
To be honest, I wasnt the most hyper about Megaman Legends 3, but I still wanted to play it since I havent played any of the earlier games in the series and wanted to see what the series was like with Legends 3, to if id like the series or not.
But also the thing is, from what I know a LOT of people were super hyped about Legends 3, people bought the 3ds for that game alone, they joined contests by Capcom to make them artwork, characted designs and even voice acting because they wanted the game so bad! And what happens? The game gets cancelled. So was it all a waste of time? Was all the help from fans world wide for naught? All because some stupid criteria that Capcom didnt come to or something. Seriously Capcom, what happened?

Also when looking on the net about the game being cancelled, I also realised that Megaman Universe was cancelled a few months back. A game that seemed like it was almost completely done as well, just got cancelled like that. Sure it wasnt the most hyped Megaman game of the year, but people would still buy it. I-I dont know what to say.

Maybe thats the reason why Keiji Inafune, the father of MegaMan, and the backbone of the whole company of Capcom, left the company. He knew where Capcom was going, and didnt want to be around when Capcom were about to crash and burn... He realised that Capcom no longer seem to care about their fans, and that he didnt like.

Or is that why the Megaman games are being cancelled? To get their "revenge" on Keiji or something for leaving them? If thats so, then thats just childish Capcom. Also you shouldnt punish the fans of your's because of that. Also to clarify, I dont know the reason, if its grudge or whatever, im just giving you my thoughts on the situation.

This brings me to my next point, what will happen to Megaman in general? His latest games got cancelled and he wasnt allowed into
Marvel VS. Capcom 3 either. Why is that? Is all our favorite robot Megaman dying?
This is on its way to almost tell me that we wont be seeing anymore of the Blue Bomber, the mascot of Capcom. No more Classic Megaman, no more Megaman X and no more appereances of Megaman in any games whatsoever, like the spinoff series and such. Im sorry to say that, but thats what it seems like its going to... What other explanation can there be that the Megaman games are being cancelled and Megaman himself disappearing from the games he was originally in. Please, dont let it go that far Capcom, you will most likely die as a company if you do.

So im asking you Megaman fans of Mega-Fandom, and the rest of the fans on the net if possible, go and tell Capcom your thoughts on the situation, and that you still want the Blue Bomber around. You can do so on Capcom's main site if im not mistaken, and on blogs about this situation.

Basically the contest is choose a fan character OC from Classic,X,Legends,EXE,Starforce,MMZ,MMZX ect.

and you can place it in a fighting match against another character and offical character or another fan character

Rules are

1. You can only enter 1 pic and yes it can be a comic but only a 1 pager

2. you cannot post anything offensive meaning nothing dissing some other member or person in this group or DA unless you have proof they have it coming to them.

3. mature pictures are ok but they have to be okayed by the found and co-founder and by mature i mean anything that would need a mature tag for any reason if its for violence/gore or nudity.

4. each pic must be turned in by a certain date which as of the moment is going to be July 24th

5. No tracing,no modivational posters,no stole work,no pics that have art done by someone else in them meaning any wall paper you do has to be done by you 100% at the most. if its for the BG you may use a found one but you must give link to the original site it was found on.

and last 6. if you use sprites you must make sure you give credit to the place you found the sprites from


now for prizes i will try and talk with the founder of the group
and if we get legit prizes figured out for
1st,2nd,3rd and 4th place we will start this contest
